Yael Munk

Yael Munk is a lecturer of film and cultural studies at the Open University, Israel. She is the author of Exiled in their Borders : Israeli Cinema between the Two Intifadahs (The Open University of Israel). In her research she explores Israeli and Palestinian cinemas, postcolonial theory and the critique of colonialism, the emergence of new and hybrid identities after the nation-state, and documentary filmmaking by women.
